Toptech, a leading company in road safety consult, defensive driving, and 4×4 off-road driving training has donated two 2.5hp air-conditioners to the Ghana card registration center for the office of the National Identification Authority(NIA) at the La Market Complex.
The package was presented by Mr. Cecil Garbrah, the Executive Director of Toptech on the 8th of February, 2022, at mid-day. The receiving party was represented by Mr. Nii Manle Adsei – Corporate Relations Officer for Ladma, and Madam Cynthia Mensah, the District Director for Ladma, NIA.
According to Mr. Garbrah, Toptech in connection with the celebration of its 25 years of business, has a lined-up series of activities that were to benefit the most deserving community.
The donation was very important because when he visited the registration center, he realized that the room temperature was above normal and therefore saw an opportunity as part of his company’s social responsibility, to assist the center with the provision of two air-conditioners.
He believes the air-conditioners would provide some comfort for the NIA staff and the general public who were in wait to complete their registration.
Members of the general public who were present at the center for their registration were impressed and applauded for this rare kind of courtesy.
Mr. Nii Manle Adsei on behalf of the MCE, NIA, and Municipal Assembly expressed their deepest gratitude for the generous act of Mr. Cecil Garbrah and called on other individuals and corporate bodies whose circumstances may allow, to emulate Toptech.
